Comment: Unfortunately, 27 UN peacekeepers (Nigeria Contingent)were sentenced to life imprisonment because they demanded that their allowances be paid to them. Since 2009 they have been languishing in jail until Dec 2010 when they were granted full pardon. They are still being owed some allowances. Service to father land instead of being appreciated is rather being discouraged. Nigeria we hail thee.
